Our Approach
RMT Massage Approach
Every session starts with an assessment: what's bothering you, how it started, how it moves. From there your Registered Massage Therapist builds the treatment around that, whether it's deep tissue work for a stiff neck, therapeutic massage after an injury, or gentler prenatal care.
Our RMTs trained at Langara College and the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and are registered with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC). Your treatment is clinical care, not a spa add-on. That also means your visit qualifies for extended health coverage, and we direct-bill most plans.
What we treat day to day: the repetitive strain that builds up from a week of work and training, the tension that settles into the neck and jaw, and the aches that come with pregnancy. Our goal is to get you feeling more comfortable and moving more freely than before you walked in.

Common questions about RMT in Vancouver
Registered massage therapy is treatment delivered by a Registered Massage Therapist — a health professional regulated in BC by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC. An RMT assesses your concern and treats it directly, and because the care is clinical, the receipts qualify for extended health coverage and ICBC claims.
Our rates, including GST, are $84 for 30 minutes, $105 for 45 minutes, $136.50 for 60 minutes and $194.25 for 90 minutes. If you have extended health coverage, direct billing usually means you only pay the part your plan doesn't cover. Full rates are on our Rates & FAQs page.
Yes. We direct-bill more than 20 insurers, including Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield, Desjardins, Industrial Alliance and the Co-operators. We also accept ICBC claims (paid up front, no direct billing). We do not handle WorkSafeBC claims. If you're unsure your plan is on the list, ask us when you book.
It depends on what you're treating. For an acute issue or a flare-up, weekly or fortnightly sessions for a few weeks tend to settle things fastest. Once you're comfortable, many clients shift to a monthly maintenance visit. Your therapist will suggest a rhythm based on how your body responds — there's no fixed rule.
Your therapist starts with a short health history and an intake about what's bothering you and how you move. From there they tailor the treatment, checking in on pressure as they go. You stay covered by a sheet throughout, and only the area being worked on is uncovered. We'll send your intake form ahead of time — completing it before you arrive lets your therapist review it and prepare for your visit.
