A calm clinic within reach of Kerrisdale
Kerrisdale keeps its own pace. The West 41st shopping village is the heart of it — long-standing shops, a walkable high street and quiet residential blocks either side. Granville Street runs straight down from the neighbourhood to us, so the trip to the clinic is short and predictable whether you drive or take the bus.
We are a treatment clinic, not a spa. Every appointment is one-to-one with a Registered Massage Therapist inside Envision Physiotherapy, a multidisciplinary practice. That matters whenever care needs coordinating: your RMT can talk a case through with the physiotherapists, pelvic floor physiotherapists, kinesiologists and dietitians who work alongside us, and make a referral within the clinic when another set of hands is the right call.
Care that meets you where your body is
Some appointments call for a gentler brief, and we build for that. It might be a stiff hip or shoulder that limits how far you can reach, a lower back that has grown cautious over the years, or the simple wish to stay mobile and comfortable enough to keep doing the things that matter — the garden, the walk to 41st, carrying the shopping home without paying for it the next day. Bookings made on someone else's behalf are welcome too; plenty of appointments here are arranged by a family member.
That kind of care doesn't call for heavy hands. Massage therapy can help ease muscle tension and support circulation and mobility, and a skilled RMT adjusts pressure, pace and positioning to what your body can take on the day. If lying flat is uncomfortable, we work with bolsters, side-lying or seated positions instead. Because comfort and safety come first, your therapist will always say when something is better handled by the physiotherapists next door or by your own doctor. What we're after is steady, comfortable maintenance rather than a dramatic one-off fix.
Getting here from Kerrisdale
By transit. The #10 Granville runs northbound from around West 41st straight up Granville Street to our block — usually about 10 to 12 minutes, and no transfer. The stop is close to the door, which makes it an easy trip for anyone who would rather not drive.
By car. It is roughly a 10-minute drive north up Granville Street. We're at 201-3077 Granville St, near West 15th.
Parking. There's a parking garage off the back lane, with the gate closing at 7pm Mon–Fri and 3pm Sat, and closed Sundays and stat holidays. There's also metered and time-limited street parking on Granville and the nearby side streets. Check the posted signs for current restrictions, and if you arrive after the building locks up, dial 1201 on the intercom and we'll let you in.

Kerrisdale massage questions
Yes. Comfort comes first. If lying face-down is difficult, we can position you with bolsters and cushions, work side-lying or seated, and keep the pressure light where it needs to be. Tell your RMT what movements or positions are hard for you and the session is built around that, not the other way round.
It often works well as part of a wider plan. Massage therapy can help ease muscle tension and support comfort and mobility between other appointments, and because our clinic shares the space with Envision Physiotherapy, your RMT can compare notes with the physiotherapists and kinesiologists next door. It is a complement to that care, not a replacement for medical advice.
Yes. Plenty of Kerrisdale bookings are made by one family member for another — a parent, a partner or an adult child arranging care. You can book online through Jane App, or call us and we'll help set it up and answer any questions about what suits the person you're booking for.
